Nyt on
varmistunut matkareitti muutaman tutun kautta Pariisiin. Matka alkaa Raisiosta
27. päivänä huhtikuuta. Vappu ollaan Pipsan kanssa Pariisissa.
Lennot ovat
varmistuneet ja Kotkalle vakuutus Pohjois-Amerikassa.
Venäjän viisumihakemuksen
sain vihdoin vietyä Star Tourille Raisioon. Saa nähdä, kuinka kauan menee,
ennen kuin tulee takaisin.
KTM sai uuden
ilmansuodattimen ja uuden ruiskukartan (kiitos Janne A. ja Pete V.), jonka
myötä välitykset sai harventaa ja pikkukierrosten tehokuoppa poistui.
Vielä ollaan
käyty enduroajeluilla hakemassa pientä peruskuntoa tulevaa reissua varten.
20-23.3 olen
Päijänteen ympäriajossa Niskalan Veskun huollossa. Pääsee hetkeksi (ehkä) eroon
tästä reissusuunnittelusta. Nyt olen laittanut SPOT:in toimintaan ja Vesku
testaa sitä Päitsillä.
43 days to the
departure
I have now decided my route to Paris. The trip will start from Raisio on
the 27th of April. I will
visit few friends on my way to Paris. The last weekend before the flight from
Paris to Toronto we will spend with Pipsa in Paris.
I have now booked my flights and have bought insurance to my bike in North
America.
I have also made my application of the visa to Russia. We will see how long
that will take.
The motorbike got some new parts to the engine so that
it will be a little bit better (new airfilter system and new fuel injection map).
I have done some exercise with endure bike. That perhaps
gives better physics for the coming trip.
Next weekend I am going to spend helping my friend in Päijänteen
ympäriajo –competition. He will test my new SPOT (satellite messenger).
